Ashesi University’s Design Lab started an online hackathon series during the COVID-19 lockdown session dubbed Future of Learning. This series of an online hackathon is in 3 editions. The First edition which saw NO STRESS WITH TESTS as winner ended some few weeks back.
Well the second edition also ended August 15 with the following being winners for the second edition of the Future of Learning hack;
The Ashesi Design lab in partnership with lead sponsor Hatchery Positivo BGH, brought together enthusiasts from different academic disciplines in 17 groups (minimum of 3 individuals to a maximum of 5) to partake in the virtual competition. About 26% of the participants in this version of the series of hackathons were female.
Winners of the future of learning 2 of 3 received cash prizes of GHS 1400 for SUNTAA, GHS 1000 for Awesome Thinkers Network , and GHS 600 for Excelsior respectively with mentorship and advisory support to scale up their ideas to market.
The Second edition was sponsored by Africa Digital Festival, GhanaWeb.com, DoughMan Foods, Feenix, Business24Ghana, Hatchery Positivo BGH and DSC Ashesi University.
