Mohamed Bah, recently announced as the digital champion for Sierra Loene by The Africa Digital Festival and Digital Foundation Africa is revolutionizing how citizens of the West African country Sierra Leone access transportation.
Mo Bah who was the youngest innovator among Africa’s 50 Digital Champions list co-founded his company TapTap which the first to provide affordable, fast, reliable and safe on-demand transport service for Sierra Leoneans.
Sierra Leone’s transportation system has various problems some of them being but not limited empty riders, endless negotiations and so Mo Bah developed TapTap to help solve some of such challenges.
Taptap is not only the first on-demand taxi services in Sierra Leone but it is also innovating the payment space on how riders and drivers make payment of their fares easier through its platform called TapTap Money.
Mohammed Sheriff Bah is a Mandela Washington Fellow, and a Turkish Government Scholarship alumnus and he is putting Sierra Leone on the map as an innovative and Digital country through his works.
